Bad experience

I've eaten many types of choice edible mushrooms and never had any problems until I tried the cauliflower last night. Ugh I was up half the night throwing up 5 times. No idea what the problem was. I started out cooking it a little hotter than medium with a sauce made with olive oil, butter and lemon. Gradually reduced heat and it was cooked at least 15 min. Didn't add anything weird. Maybe I'm allergic to this one?

I haven't found it before, but according to my guide this is easy to distinguish and a choice edible.  Looks like it to me.  I not that some "white" areas on it are quite stronger colored and possibly puffy (the part on the left of your picture).  Maybe some mold grew with it and happened to be the same color?

I didn't notice anything odd about the way it looked, seemed fresh but it did have an odor which I thought was normal. Chicken mushrooms smell weird to me and it reminded me of that odor. Maybe it's just me because my husband had some and he was fine.
