Robbo
These popped up this morning, are they edible?
GCn15
Not enough information contained in your photos to make a determination.
Dave W
Even having more information at hand, we may offer suggestions about the identity of a given mushroom. However, deciding whether or not to eat a given mushroom is the responsibility of the person who who possesses the mushroom.
Robbo
That's why I'm here y'all, looking for information
troutddicted
Dig up the whole mushroom including base. Take photos of all sides, under the cap, the stalk, up close, take a spore print on white/black surface and Dave will figure it out 😀. Thats how mushroom ID’s typically work around here 😝🍄
Dave W
Well, chances are I'll have a few suggestions for an ID. Even multiple really good photos may prove to be insufficient for a confident ID to species. Identifying fungi is often tricky... even with the material in hand.
