SleepingDiddy
Good afternoon, I found this cluster of mushrooms growing in my yard, i believe out of a (possibly dead) tree root. In a pebble pathway. Looks orangeish, Big caps about 2-3” wide. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated! Thanks
Foulhook
They look like ring less honeys to me. But let’s see what the veterans have to say
Dave W
Yes, these look like Ringless Honey Mushrooms; Desarmillaria tabescens (formerly Armillaria tabescens). This is the typical growth form, clusters growing from buried roots.
