Dave W Posted August 29, 2017 Report Share Posted August 29, 2017 I par-boil all my Armillarias (honeys) before either preparing or freezing. Some people are made ill by eating these, but par-boiling may remove some/most of the toxin. I have heard three first-hand accounts of Armillaria-induced sickness, and in all three cases the mushrooms were not par-boiled.
