Dave W
There are a few different genera of what go by the common name "cup fungi". The general appearance and habitat of the ones seen here suggests genus Peziza. Species of Peziza can be difficult to pin down, and examining microscopic traits is often necessary. The ones seen here have dark inner surfaces with possibly a bit of purple tint. So, maybe consider Peziza violacea. http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Peziza_violacea.html
