chaga or not

Recommended Posts

The tree looks like a birch, similar appearance to the "yellow birch" (Betula alleghaniensis) where I find Chaga here in Pennsylvania, USA. If it's Chaga (Inonotus obliquus canker) then the inside of it will be golden-yellow or bright yellow-orange with white veins running through.
