foxfire900
Found growing in a pine/oak wood in upstate NY. Hollow stipe and brown spore print. Any ideas?

Dave W
Hebeloma makes sense. The stalk shows evidence of the presence of a cortina, but the mushroom does not look like either Cortinarius or Inocybe. Also the spore print does not look like a Cort print (which should be a bit more vividly rusty). Are there scales on the upper stipe surface?
