Lewis kirvan Posted October 14, 2018 Report Share Posted October 14, 2018 New Hunter here. Found this on a walk in northern Virginia growing at the base of a beech tree. Thought it might be hen of the woods, but it was quite a bit lighter in color than I've seen before ( perhaps its a young Berkeley). No major color change since I picked it, just slight darkening.
