  1. Unfortunately I do not have a microscope to do such a thing. However the spore print was White.
  2. Found this in a herb pot in my neighbor yard. Are these oysters? Would be the first time finding them so I have never had to identify before. I am spore printing one now.
  3. I found some more of these and will update the post.
  4. No I only cut then photograph then post then move to the next one to avoid a mix-up that may be a fatal mistake.
  5. Definitely don't see any purple or grey in the print. I did dig up the area and there are some roots growing around but small maybe a quarter inch or smaller the mushrooms themselves did not seem to be "attached" to them. These are the prints after 24 hours maybe you can see them better without the light. This is where I found them
  6. Everything I have read about brick caps though seems to say they grow on stumps or logs, these seem to be growing up out of the grass and pine needles right along my hogwire fence. There is still more there I'll take a picture but there is no way my fence is 2 ft in the ground and they are scattered. I can't believe there is a buried log there. I'll check a little bit later.
  7. The prints always seem to lighten up a bit with my pictures. There is a light above where I print and my phone seems to lighten it up a bit for some reason. I am no photographer lol. It seems to be a rusty brown a shade or 2 lighter than the picture. After researching the hypholoma I am leaning towards brick cap. Would you agree with this?
  8. Can't figure these out.... Any ideas. . spore printing now but the caps seem to have some sort of brownish print from the ones above but can't be sure yet
  9. The cap with the spore print was a day old. The other cap had more of a purple grey color. It's a beautiful mushroom! But I have to agree with you. After much research everything seems to line up with L. Ochropurpurea
  10. No flash was used. It looks to be a very light tanish white. It had just rained the night before and they felt like they were slimy and sticky to the touch.
  11. That is it exactly! I am finding them everywhere now.
  12. It didn't happen right away, but as I was doing stuff around the house. I noticed that my fingertips are stained blue. And where I cut the gills seem to be turning a bluish green.
  13. Not exactly sure but I am hoping for something good haha.
  14. They dropped a faint white spore print didn't get alot of spores over the day it was sitting. Stem is hard and dense.
  15. The coral and the puffballs I know. I will be doing a separate post for the other 4 in hopes someone can help me identify them.
  16. No staining at all. I am interested to know what this is. I have found a few species today I'll be posting them in just a few minutes
  17. I thought so too but there is no secretion no milk no nothing
  18. These were growing in grass close to a tree line. There were some aminita mascaria growing close by as well as some boletes that were clustered together. I'll grab those on my way home and post later. The blue ones I am spore printing now. Hopefully I'll have a good print by the time I finish changing this light and will update the post
  19. This was found in my yard not sure what it is first time seeing colored gills like this. Spore print seems to be a light brown. May darken as more spores drop.
  20. Ya from what I have researched I think it's a berkley. It's really tough, dropped a white spore print. We have only had a couple of 15 minute showers in the last couple of weeks, and it's about 85 or above most days. I'll check the spot again after we get a good rainfall. Hopefully I can find a better specimen.
