  1. found this small, solitary mushroom in the woods. I think it is Coprinopsis Lagopus, am I right?
  2. I think this Mushroom is flammulina velutipes but it may also be galerina marginata, also known as the deadly galerina. I noticed this mushroom has no visible ring zone. I know that sometimes the ring zone isn't always visible on galerina.
  3. The first picture is when I first found the mushroom. The others I took later, when I returned about a week or two later. I am not to sure what this mushroom is, anyone have any idea?
  4. Not quite sure what Iā€™m looking at here, growing on heavily decayed woodpile in Douglas fir/ponderosa pine dominant forest, more yellow than white, fairly heavy, frozen cap, gills that attach to stem, stem is roughly 4ā€ in diameter, cap is closer to 10ā€, maybe a Russula? Would love help to properly ID šŸ˜Œ
  5. Please help identify these mushrooms. I am sure they are not edible, but I have a curiosity that won't let go. thank you for your help. Caps were about 3" to 4" across. They had a soggy or wet texture, of course it had recently rained hard, though the grass was dry. Thanks so much for your help.
  6. I have spent many hours trying to figure out what this big boy is. I would be thrilled if anyone could ID it! LOCATION: Was found in a tight cluster of 7 other like mushrooms; point of growth was the base of a decomposing stump.(oak tree{located on a slight down-slope in the woods[bark sample in photos]}) Indiana, USA
