  1. Found theses on a road side edge in Northern NH
  2. Can I please get a verification that these are chanterelles--smell lovely and fruity, creamy/white inside stem, found in conifer forest in northern NH Thanks so much!
  3. Found in northern NH today. Can I please get help identifying--they have lots of white spore on top--honey mushrooms?
  4. My apologies! Hopefully you can see these...Thanks so much, Linda
  5. Found in Virginia today... Are these horse or field mushrooms? Edible? Thanks for the help! 2000000000017372.jpeg
  6. Thank you for your help! Definitely far beyond the possibility of us newbies, but we love the chance to learn from you all. Thank you for taking the time to teach. It makes our wandering in the woods so much more fun!
  7. Well, Dave, That was my husband posting for the first time, and it was a standing joke whenever he sees white gilled mushrooms--which we as very inexperienced people always look at, grin and say "petty sure those aren't edible" mostly funny when it's a big group like this one. And he dragged and dropped rather than inserting, so they show up on his computer, but not all. Obviously he doesn't know, or we wouldn't have posted or at least attempted to post the pics. Sorry to waste your time, all-- Linda
  8. Thank you so much for your help. I was able to find good pictures and matching descriptions under Helvella. Very interesting mushrooms.
  9. Please help identify these mushrooms. I am sure they are not edible, but I have a curiosity that won't let go. thank you for your help. Caps were about 3" to 4" across. They had a soggy or wet texture, of course it had recently rained hard, though the grass was dry. Thanks so much for your help.
  10. Found these onthe ground in an area where we have thrown some ash under some trees in partial shade. Can someone help with identification? Thank you--
  11. Found these small mushrooms on the lawn in some mossy, partly shady grass. Any idea what they are? Thanks!
