  1. Those looks like turkey tail : on the old wood (birch), small whitish pores...Please confirm. Thanks.
  2. ...sorry, forgot to put measure tape, but they are 5-6 inches tall and 1-2 inches fat at the bottom...
  3. ...look at the size of these honey mushrooms - incredable !...never saw them like that, that's why want to share with mushroom brotherhood...
  4. Thank you all ! You're right - looks more like "Clitocybe connata" - poison...
  5. ...found in south-east BC, Canada...
  6. 1. Flesh very thin and flexible. Good flavor. 2. Found on ground as seen on the picture, but close (and may be under) to old fallen trees. The pores should be whitish for real turkey tail ? They are light brownish...Probably old...Thanks for your expertise.
  7. Dave, western Canada, British columbia...According to E-Flora BC Atlas looks like Suilus cavipes or hollow stalked larch suilus...Next time look at the stalk base as you suggester. Thanks.
  8. Dave, one my friend suggested that it is "milkys"... Dont know , still searching for the answer... Tried to boil and odor is not pleasant ...
  9. ...it's a scaly vase chanterelle, Gomphus floccosus, thanks to my friend for the help. Edibility - causes digestive upset in some (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), onset can be delayed, may be due to norcaperatic acid, compounds have been found that may be harmful to the liver , onset of symptoms delayed 8-14 hours. Try to avoid them !!!
  10. wood blewett or "buttons", right ? thanks.
  11. very clean and healthy looking...is that st.george ? but they grow in the spring according to the books ...any suggestions ? thanks.
