Hello Everyone!
My first time here. Hope you all can help.
So my story begins in May of 2021, I built a bed of hard wood chips in a Simi shaded area, Mixed in a bunch of King Stropharia spores and waited.........
I checked every Month fo Mycelial expansion and did not find any. I stoped checking and thought my efforts had failed. I now have Mushrooms growing but they are NOT King Stropharia.
Recent Temperatures are 67 degrees in the early morning and 89 degrees at mid day. The Stems do not have a ring around them and the spore print is brownish in color. I put a Quarter in the Pictures for reference of size. Please see attached photos.
They look edible but I am not taking any chances until I know for sure what they are.
