I have been finding them under trees that have lost all there bark mostly oaktrees It was early this year. I found my first one April 23. I have been hunting morels for about 45 year. I remember what my elders always said when the lilac’s bloom the morel are up and that is what I always go by. Has never failed me yet.i have found about 300 already this year. Last year was on of our best years found over 60lbs. Average year is 20 to 40lbs

Are dryad saddle mushrooms good and do people buy them? The morels are going pretty good in Nebraska
