Found in mixed broadleaf and pine, fruiting up from the soil. Very abundant throughout the woods. Northwest FL.

Found all 3 of these in the same area under pines coming up from the ground that was carpeted with pine needles. No real discoloration from bruising . found in Florida panhandle. Very large, one of the biggest Boletes that I have seen before.

Found lots of these today scattered on the ground beneath leaves of a live oak in the woods here in gulf coast FL. Mostly very small, with the length of the stem being much longer that the width of the cap. If so it seems I've found a good spot for chants. sorry about including the red in one photo so please excuse it.
