New Zealand so I have no experience on your species.

But agree, they look like a coprinellus species. If I found those at the base of a dead tree, here in Ontario, I would call them Mica Caps. Confirm with a spore print.

I agree these look like a species of Coprinellus. However, fungal species that occur in Australia and/or New Zealand are often different than similar-looking species found here in North America. In order to learn which types of mushrooms found in NZ are toxic, you should consult a source specific to your region.
