drspudbear
Found at the base of red cedar in a tight bunch. No distinguishable smell. Gills are free and light brown. Spore print on the way
The Mushroom Whisperer
Looks very close. A couple of questions: did the stem stain yellow when bruised, or at the base when you cut it? and can you try smelling it again and see if it's gotten any more noticeable of an odor now? Or try crushing some of the stem flesh and see if it gets an odor.
drspudbear
No staining at the base or anywhere it's been cut. I crushed up the stem and it smells very mildly of bleach or chlorine, but I'm pulling at straws since it's so mild.
