Dave W Posted November 15, 2020 Report Share Posted November 15, 2020 New Latin name for Panellus serotinus (Late Fall Oyster) is Sarcomyxa serotina. A decent edible if collected when young. They develop a slightly bitter taste in age. Not much flavor, but nice texture. Okay in stir-fry dishes that feature other ingredients that are more flavorful.
