Marilyne
We were at the cottage and after a rain many mushrooms appeared. There were many of these. Tan colour , slimy surface, pores not gills, slender stem. Here are pictures. We are looking for help with identification and whether they can be eaten. Jeff Falcone
Possibly Suillus granulatus
Dave W
Almost certainly a species of Suillus, possibly S. granulatus (actually now called S. weaverae in NA). Maybe a bit pale/yellow for S. weaverae (although I would not rule out this species). A few other species to check are... S. punctipes (no partial veil) https://www.mycoquebec.org/bas.php?trie=S&l=l&nom=Suillus punctipes / Bolet à pied ponctué&tag=Suillus punctipes&gro=21 or S. glandulosipes https://www.mycoquebec.org/bas.php?trie=S&l=l&nom=Suillus glandulosipes / Bolet à pied glanduleux&tag=Suillus glandulosipes&gro=21 .
