Maynard
Please help me identify this mushroom. I am a first time poster. Currently working on a spore print. I found it in a mix of grass and wood chips, growing in a cluster. Thank you Edited May 19, 2020 by Maynard New information
bobby b
Looks like a mica cap. Maybe not. ? Go on mushroomexpert.com and look at Coprinellus micaceus. ?? Mica caps are very common & usually grow at the base of dead trees. They have granules attached to the cap but rain can wash them off. Maynard
Thank you very much, I will look into that! Update! — the spore print is black which is consistent with coprinellus micaceus.
