bobby b
M americana hasn't yet come up under elms in the places I hunt. A friend found nice flushes 3 days in a row under elms. M diminutiva has and the colors are quite variable with small groups maintaining the colors of their morel neighbors. I'm finding blacks, yellows & grays that brown a little. They're under tulip poplars, pignut hickories & elms.
Dave W
Today I got a nice number of mostly small M. diminutiva under a mix of live apple and wild black cherry trees.
