Dave W Posted April 23, 2020 Report Share Posted April 23, 2020 Nice! The Bessette field guides are standard references for eastern NA mushroom enthusiasts. The Bessettes do a lot of collecting/research in FL. One of their specialties is boletes, and southern NA has a lot of species that are not found in the northern half of NA. After reading the introduction and scanning the pages last night, I’ve noticed a few that we were unsettled about identifications in the past. Mostly boletes.... go figure.
