Amanita phalloides?

Interesting Amanita observation. Probably a good one to post onto MO. 

My impression is this is not Amanita phalloides. The grayish margin on the ring (annulus/partial veil) is not something I would expect with an Amanita species classified within section Phalloideae. I think this probably represents a species from section Validae. In particular, the Amanita lavendula group (formerly called by the European species name A. citrina) looks like a good bet here. There are a few different NA species in this group. Among possibly others are   http://www.amanitaceae.org/?Amanita+lavendula  and  http://www.amanitaceae.org/?Amanita+cornelihybrida  .
