Dave W
First off, I'm wondering if the photos were taken using an artificial light source. If so, then the colors seen in the photos may not be correctly represented. I think this is an example of a species of genus Gymnopus. Spore print color? Daj
Thank you I appreciate it. I always try to get them in the natural light as I know it alters their coloring, however in some instances like this one, the mushrooms are in dark areas or it's night. Dave W
Recommendation: harvest a few specimens and pose them in an area where natural light is all that's required for the camera/phone to function optimally. How would you describe the natural color(s) for the cap/stipe? Gills appear to be pale...if not white.
