GCn15
Looks like armillaria tabescens. Check for a white spore print.
Dave W
Maybe a species of Hypholoma, spore print dark purplish/grayish-brown. Alternatively, maybe a species of Pholiota, spore print brown. But, if white spored, I think this is a species of Hygrophorus. Maybe H. tennesseensis or H. bakerensis. Looking again... I think what appears to be a dark tinge to the gills is just shadow. Is the cap kinda slimy/sticky? Any odor? Were these photos taken indoors? Dave W
I think this is a species of Pholiota. Maybe something similar to http://www.mushroomexpert.com/pholiota_terrestris.html .
