Im new to the mushroom game but i definatly found a large shelf of chicken of the woods yesterday on my property. When do you say that its too far gone not to eat it?? They were frozen when i harvested them today. I dont see any bug holes or anything of that nature just some dirt and wood from the tree. Gonna try to upload the pics i have of them.
