Hi all

I'd like some help with identifying these mushrooms please.

I'm thinking they are Cantharellus aurora and Hydnum rufescens.

Both were found in Dartmoor mixed woodland growing from the ground.

Currently waiting for spore prints.

Many thanks in advance.

Dartmoor is in the South West of England.

The gilled mushroom looks a lot like Craterellus tubaeformis, which occurs in Britain according to Wikipedia.  I'm not familiar with Cantharellus aurora, but it's described as similar to and closely related to C. tubaeformis.  So, it could be either.

Hydnum species, difficult to pinpoint beyond the level of genus. The gilled mushroom is a species of Craterellus (genus split off from Cantharellus years back). In addition to C. tubaeformis I'd also consider C. ignicolor. Or, perhapa there's another species found in England (but not NA).
