Alessia
I need some help identifying these wild mushrooms, I want to know if the ones that look like porcini actually are, and if the other ones in the photograph are edible as my local park is full of them. Dig
Not porcini. I see three different types of mushrooms. It is best to start one thread for each mushroom. Also re boletes, they do not have gills, but rather thousands of tubes that the spores fall from.
troutddicted
Bottom ones look like honeys but need more pictures.

Dave W
I'm guessing that Alessia mistook the partial veils on the Armillarria mushrooms ("Honey Mushrooms", one of three or four types pictured) for a pore surface. If you break through the partial veil on these mushrooms you will see gills. At least one type in the picture may be a species of Entoloma. Most species of Entoloma are considered to be toxic.
