If it does not have intense blue, and it appears it does not, and if it is not bitter it is probably ok to eat, but still it will be safer to identify to species although sometime it is not easy with boletes. Dave W Posted October 21, 2019 Report Share Posted October 21, 2019 I agree the brown bruise on the pores suggests genus Tylopilus.
