Dave W Posted October 18, 2019 Report Share Posted October 18, 2019 These mushrooms are not fully mature, so some traits may not have completely developed. The presence of a partial veil that looks webby does suggest genus Cortinarius. Another possibility is genus Hygrophorus. Some types of these mushrooms feature slimy partial veil that can appear to be stringy before it breaks apart.
