Pinecones
Found some tiny corals on our mountain for the first time. The biggest of them were growing out of moose droppings. All of them were growing on/out of decaying matter. Any idea on what kind of corals these are? Patches averages 1/2"-3/4" in size. The moose cluster was over 1". All fruits less than 1" tall. Dave W
I think these are a species of Clavulina, maybe C. cristata. Are the tips of the branches flattened? http://www.mushroomexpert.com/clavulina_cristata.html
