Angel wings? pleurocybella porrigens? If growing on coniferous wood then almost certainly. If growing on deciduous wood then White oysterette? Cheimonphyllum candidissimus? Both grow throughout N. America.

Tep, Was there a stem or was it attached by only the margin. If a stem then I would say that theplanets has it.

They might be some type of oyster or angel wings, but they don't seem to be clustered like you would expect. That being said, we have found chicken mushrooms that were on a log and spaced out like these mushrooms and weren't clustered. How large we're they?
