mushnoob
Western Olympic peninsula, Washington state, several miles of a Forest road cut have thousands of these which popped up after a couple of days of rain. Smell very sweet, a little like almond maybe? Have never eaten nor seen true chanterelle before so hesitant to try even though they seem to match description. What do you you think? *Edit These have hollow stems, googlein says they may be yellowfoot or winter chanterelles?
vitog
Those are one of the species of Golden Chanterelles, probably Cantharellus formosus, the most common of the 3 species in your area. I see that you also have what look like King Boletes.
