Is this possibly a type of rooting cauliflower mushroom?

Found 9300’ with temps 48-65f, very wet for past 2 weeks.  Found in mixed conifer/aspen forest along a clearing.  No smell.  Texture is rubbery but not slimy.  Has one central stem/root.  No pore structure visible to me.  Half seems fresh and half seems a few days old.  In the landscape photo it was just out of frame to the right along the woodland edge.  Third photo shows bottom view note the central stem.
