Madyogurt
Hi guys, First time posting. I came upon these in my front yard near the creek growing on an old tree stump and on the ground. Are these oyster mushroom and are they edible? CajunShroomer3578
Looks like Armillaria tabescens(ringless honey mushroom) Decurrent gills , white spore deposits seen on caps support this proposal. I’m no expert though. The stems should be fibrous for this species as well
Dave W
Usually, Armillaria tabescens caps show scales formed out of tiny hairs. I don't see such scales here, but other wise these look like A. tabescens.
