Are these oysters?

I found a lot of these growing on an old log, I pick some so I can take more pics if needed

At the risk of putting my foot in my mouth, I don't think those are oysters. Maybe some kind of Entoloma?

I think your right brendan. After researching the web the aborted entoloma that is growing around and among them is the clue that kinda confirms it.

Entoloma abortivum. A pink spore print may be seen on one of the caps that's beneath another cap. Also, aborted forms --actually aborted Armillaria fruit bodies-- are seen in the photos.

Cool! Completely missed the aborted forms in the photos. This forum is such a great learning tool. Last night when it was down I got scared it might not come back up!
