Lucas_501
I found this mushrooms in my front yard (pics attached). Im in central mexico, climate is kind of dry but last week the rain season of late summer started and afterwards i found the mushrooms. There are a lot of them, and some have already started to dry because of the sun. I made a couple of spore prints, it’s i would say dark brownish, I’m attaching pictures. Are they edible? Do they have psilocybin?
Dave W
Spore print appears to be jet-black. (If you take the print on a black surface, then any contrast in color will make it easier to judge whether the print is black or very dark purple brown. My guess is these mushrooms are a species of Panaeolus. If you're interested specifically in genus Psilocybe, then your best bet for online information is Shroomery.
