Yes it's a reishi. Good find! Don't know exact species but it's definitely one of the medicinal types commonly used.

Possibly Ganoderma curtisii. This species sometimes occurs with the long "stalk". Interesting that the upper surface seen here is not more shiny. G. curtisii is one of the so-called "Varnished Ganoderma" species.

Thanks guys! I’m new at mushroom foraging. Just wanted to verify. It was definitely shinier before I picked it, it’s been drying for a bit.
