Dave W Posted June 3, 2019 Report Share Posted June 3, 2019 Calocybe gambosa is a European spring species that produces fairly large mushrooms. I have no first-hand experience with this type, as it does not occur here in eastern North America. Comparing the ones seen in this thread with the Wiki description, the gills seen here appear to be quite broad and with wide spacing for this species.
