Dave W
Welcome aboard Leighton! I see from some of your posts here that you have a background in mushroom identification. When it comes to discussing mushroom ID, more opinions is always better. This website features a variety of fungal-oriented discussions, with an emphasis upon edible and medicinal species. Plenty of beginners here who are looking for guidance. I am also interested in mushroom ID. here's my Mushroom Observer page. http://mushroomobserver.org/observer/observations_by_user/
LeightonBankes
88 pages! thats a lot of observations! I need to go through my camera and add some. I basically use MO to track the species I've found, but sometimes I'm guilty of not keeping up with it very well

Feral Boy
Nice to have you here. There's a chapter of NAMA in Ohio, but it's up north near Cleveland: http://www.sharingmachine.com/prodimages/womens-400-anxiety.jpg Might be good to get together with them sometime.
