Tea
We found these a few weeks ago in Suches Ga I should have cleaned for a better pic. My husband and family are from Poland and they believe these are the same edible mushrooms they would hunt for in Poland but we are having trouble finding the English name. With the slimy top I believe they might be Slippery Jack's. We found them growing around the base of trees in the woods by our cabin my MIL cleaned/par boiled to take home she is certain they are edible (not sure if she has eaten yet none of us wanted to chance it). Dave W
Definitely Suillus. Stems appear to lack glandular dots. Maybe S. brevipes.
