Dave W
I think if you collect a spore print from these, it will be white. These look like a species of Mycena to me. P. semilaceata is not even remotely related to Mycena. If you're interested in IDing Psilocybe species, I suggest you consult Shroomery. Dave W
Okay, for starters learn to collect a spore print. Find nonporous smooth surfaces, one black one white. Place the cap so that it straddles the two surfaces. Or, use two mushroom caps from the same collection, with one on black one on white. As an alternative, you may collect a spore print on a piece of clear glass, like a microscope slide, and then place the glass over white/black backgrounds. Also, aluminum foil is an alternative, although I'm not sure how this medium works for making subtle distinctions in tint. There are a lot of different types of mushrooms out there. It takes a ,lot of work to learn how to ID. In addition to the spore print recommendation, there's a lot of technical vocabulary to learn. A good educational source is Mushroom Expert.
