Gupright
Hi, New member here so thanks in advance for any replies! I just found what I believe to be some “blewits” I’m unsure of the spore prints and was hoping if the forum could help me out. I’ve uploaded four photos. Again, thanks! -Jerry
BastedBrew
Looks like clitocybe nuda to me, should be fragrant, citrusy. In my experience, they turn a much deeper shade of purple when they’re rinsed in cold water.

Dave W
Spore prints for Blewits seem to vary in darkness. Unlike the ones seen here, the print is sometimes very pale. But, the fleshy-pinkish color seen here definitely rules out all Cortinarius species, as well as the white/yellow-spored Clitocybe species. The mushrooms seen here look like Blewits to me. But, for the sake of comparison, there are a few other pinkish-spored Lepista/Clitocybe that deserve to be mentioned. Clitocybe subconnexa, probably harmless, but has an unpleasant taste with a lingering metallic aftertaste. Lepista tarda, like a small/slender Blewit. Edible and okay, but not as flavorful as Blewits. I find this species on lawns. Lepista irina, usually with pale pinkish spore print. Basically a white version of the Blewit.
