Matt McDermott Posted October 10, 2018 Report Share Posted October 10, 2018 Look like Suillus americanus, 'chicken fat suillus '. They grow near white pine. I think I saw pine needles in the pic. I have eaten a small portion of some, they are difficult to clean as it is recommended to remove the pore tubes and cuticle layer as these can cause gastric problems.
