robertbobby
I think the first pics might be honeys.
svs
Caps of first picks looks too smooth for honey. May be flammulina. In both cases should grow in clusters and have white spores
GCn15
First pics look like Flammalina Velutipes to me as well.
diana
doesn't look like honeys to me either. I haven't come across the ringed honeys but I do know that the ringless have a sort of hairy cap.
robertbobby
Thanks for your replies. Looks like Velvet shank also , has anyone tried them . Any idea on the others?
GCn15
I have eaten Flammalina Velutipes, better known as Enoki mushrooms, often. They are very good. Make sure to spore print before eating and confirm a white spore print. I would not eat the single one as Flammalina Velutipes rarely grow terrestrially and single. robertbobby
How about the last pic any ideas?
Dave W
Last pic looks like Turkey Tail, ie. Trametes versicolor. If correct, then you will see very small pores on the undersides... possibly requiring some magnification. The very similar Stereum ostrea has pores so small you need a microscope to see them, so the fertile under-surface appears to be smooth. For the gilled mushrooms. I like the Flammulina suggestion. If correct, they should have been found growing directly on a dead tree (infrequently on buried wood). Also, like has been said, white spores.
