The Mushroom Whisperer Report post Posted October 9, 2018 Looks like Clavariadelphus. Possibly C. unicolor.
GCn15 Report post Posted October 9, 2018 Are the colors a true representation in your photo? At any rate it is a type of Calvariadelphus. We get a ton of C. Truncatus up in the spruce/pines in Canada in the reindeer moss. I have eaten them but didn't really like them.

Dave W Report post Posted October 24, 2018 Some of the Clavariadelphus species tend to be on the bitter side, some are mild-tasting. It's been a loooong time since I ate any of these. I hardly ever see them.
