Agaricus bisporus?

Old Oak

Recommended Posts

Not Agaricus bisporus, which never has the brown disc that breaks apart into tiny scales closer to the margin. Also, although I am not familiar with A. fissuratus, the account found on Mushroom Expert does not fit the type of cap seen here.

Do these have an odor? I think I may see some yellow staining on the stalk base. This would point toward A. placomyces, which is toxic.
