Any experience with Yellow Foots?

So I found two different species of “yellow foot” today in Ontario. One I think being what I typically see listed as yellow foot (Craterellus tubaeformis) and the other variation I believe is Craterellus lutescens. They look similar but the tubaeformis was darker with more distinct “gills” the lutescens more wavy and oddly shaped and smoother underneath. Does anyone have experience eating these mushrooms?

When I find tubaeformis, I collect it for eating. I've not ever tried Craterellus lutescens. I am not aware of any problem species in genus Craterellus. If I found some C. lutescens, I'd probably give them a try. BTW, I think that's what you have here (the yellow ones)... https://www.mycoquebec.org/bas.php?trie=C&l=l&nom=Craterellus lutescens / Craterelle jaunissante&tag=Craterellus lutescens&gro=11

Nice post!
