Nathshroom
Picked this in a field in Wales yesterday where cows were grazing. My little sister is wild about mushrooms and she picked 2 from the ground and ate them. Is it the deadly conocybe tenera?? If so, do I need to act fast? The Mushroom Whisperer
In my opinion from your picture, this does not look like Conocybe tenera to me. But that doesn't mean it's not a toxic mushroom. You and your sister are the ones that need to be sure. C. tenera is considered toxic, possibly with fatal consequences. I would seek info from someone local to you, as soon as possible. Try this society: http://www.britmycolsoc.org.uk I'm not going to preach, but your sister's actions were incredibly foolish. I hope she doesn't repeat them, and that you are able to educate her.
