If I identified them correctly...which I think I did. Never found them before. Listed as inedible, has anyone tried them? Just curious.

I have found them several times but never eat them. Each time they where in big flushes and I came across the same information on edibility......glad I won't missing much according to those who have eat it. But they definitely look cool and make you look.

hi just wanted to add to the knowledge base. i live in philadelphia and have seen them every year . i never tried eating these, just felt unsure i dont pute anything in my mouth unless i am 100 percent sure. i am finding them in large numbers in certain spots on dead hardwood logs. we have had so much rain this year and very humid and oppressive lately. i think thats the reason for the abundance
